Provides assistance in the Respiratory Therapy Department concerning all areas of Respiratory Care that do not require a license.  The Respiratory Technician shall demonstrate a willingness to accept responsibilities as delegated and to complete such responsibilities in a timely manner.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Good data entry skills

• Ability to withstand considerable walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling and stooping on a daily basis.
• Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
• Visual acuity for the accurate reading of computer spreadsheets, gauges, computer screens and reports.
• Ability to hear with or without correction.
• Ability to manipulate small tools and office equipment.
• Ability to spend up to ten percent (10%) of working time outside in temperatures ranging from 25 degrees F to above 100 degrees F.
• Tasks involve the occasional exposure to blood, body fluids and tissues.
